Amazon has officially expanded its home entertainment lineup with the introduction of a more compact Fire TV Stick HD and the opening of preorders for the new Ember Artline TVs. These latest additions to the Fire TV ecosystem focus on blending high-performance hardware with aesthetic customization, offering users in the United States and international markets new ways to integrate smart technology into their living spaces.

Customizable Design and AI-Powered Art Selection

A primary highlight of the Ember Artline series is the high level of physical customization available to consumers. The lineup offers 10 distinct magnetic frames that easily snap onto the edges of the display, allowing the television to match various home decor styles. Available colors include Walnut, Ash, Teak, Black Oak, Matte White, Midnight Blue, Fig, Pale Gold, Graphite, and Silver.

To further enhance its role as a piece of home decor, the Ember Artline features an artificial intelligence tool called “Match the Room.” This AI functionality assists users in choosing artwork that best complements the specific environment and lighting of their room. Owners can browse a library of more than 2,000 free art pieces or connect the television to Amazon Photos to display personal image collections.

Seamless Content Portability and Alexa+ Integration

Both the new Fire TV Stick HD and the Ember Artline TVs are equipped with Alexa+, enabling advanced voice control for finding content and managing playback. Alongside these hardware updates, Amazon is rolling out a new software feature specifically for U.S. customers designed to streamline the viewing experience across multiple rooms.

This new feature allows users to transfer active content between different Fire TV devices using voice commands. For example, a viewer can ask Alexa to move a live sports game or a TV show from one television to another. While this functionality will initially be limited to Prime Video, Amazon has confirmed plans to expand support to additional streaming services in the future.

Technical Specifications, Pricing, and Availability

The Ember Artline televisions are designed with a slim 1.5-inch profile to maintain a flush, art-like appearance on the wall. Under the hood, they feature 4K QLED displays that support high-dynamic-range formats, including HDR10+ and Dolby Vision. The series is available in two sizes: 55-inch and 65-inch.

Pricing for the Ember Artline TVs starts at $899.99. Preorders are currently open, with the first units scheduled to ship on April 22 in the United States and Canada. Following the initial North American launch, the devices will become available in the United Kingdom and Germany.
