Apple’s New iPhones See Strong Pre-Order Demand

Apple’s latest iPhone models are experiencing strong pre-order sales, with one particular model showing exceptional demand. Analyst Ming-Chi Kuo provided insights into the demand for Apple’s new iPhone lineup, stating that the pre-order demand for the iPhone 17 series during the initial weekend surpassed that of the iPhone 16 from the previous year.

The iPhone 17 Pro Max, the most expensive model, is reportedly in high demand, while the other variants of the iPhone 17 are also performing well. However, the iPhone Air seems to be lagging behind in terms of demand, according to Kuo. Despite this, Kuo mentions that it is still too early to make a definitive judgment. The production volume of the iPhone Air is significantly higher than that of the iPhone 16 Plus from the previous year, suggesting that the lower demand could be due to Apple producing more units.

Kuo advises observing the demand for the iPhone Air after a period of sales to gain a more objective perspective. Apple’s new iPhones were unveiled during the company’s annual September launch event and became available for pre-order shortly after. The devices will hit stores on Sept. 19.
