Connections: Sports Edition
is a new version of the popular New York Times word game that tests the knowledge of sports fans. The game, like the original Connections, focuses on finding common threads between words. Just like Wordle, Connections resets daily, with each set of words getting progressively trickier. Need some hints and tips to help you out? Keep reading.
What is Connections Sports Edition?
The latest daily word game from NYT has been launched in partnership with The Athletic, the sports coverage arm of the New York Times. Players can enjoy Connections on web browsers or mobile devices, grouping four words that share a common link. Each puzzle includes 16 words split into four categories, such as book titles or country names. Only one correct answer exists, and players have up to four mistakes before the game ends.
