Researchers at Carnegie Mellon University have introduced LegoGPT, an AI model that constructs Lego structures based on text prompts. The model, similar to ChatGPT, predicts the next brick to use by integrating physics laws and assembly constraints into its training. The team trained the AI on a dataset of over 47,000 Lego structures, resulting in designs that were physically stable 98% of the time. The tool is available on GitHub for further exploration and experimentation.
