Amazon on Trial: FTC Compares Prime Membership Cancellation to Homeric Odyssey

The federal government is taking Amazon to task over the difficulty of canceling a Prime subscription. The Federal Trade Commission alleges that Amazon’s Prime subscription may rope in unsuspecting customers and is especially difficult to cancel. The trial should last about a month. The FTC also brought a similar case against Uber earlier this year.
